Bring in a PDF, Word document, EPUB, web page, Markdown file, text or image. Docora brings the reader, library, audio tools, converter and Learning Center into a visual workspace, with comprehensive accessibility and different ways to use its tools.
Build a course around your goal
Start with a topic or books from your library. Set your level, learning goal and language, then work through lessons with an interactive tutor and quizzes. Optional lesson prerequisites and spaced reviews help you organise your study. Progress and quiz results are saved so you can return to them.

Use the same account in the desktop and mobile apps to move between them without organising your work again. Your data syncs when connected, and you open the content you need when you need it.

Files transfer when you open them on another device, rather than uploading the whole library in the background. The device holding a file may need to stay online for the transfer. Lesson text saved for sync can be retrieved when you open a lesson. Sync requires a connection and active account sessions on your devices.

Read and annotate
Search, zoom, use the contents and return to your reading position. Keep bookmarks, quotes and notes with a document, and choose a Default, Sepia or Night reading theme.
Recognise text in scans
Run online OCR on a page, a document or during conversion to extract text from scans and images. Recognition quality depends on the source; check names, numbers and layout in the result.
Audiobooks and podcasts
Generate narration or a conversation between speakers. Choose the available voice and style, then play, save and add the result to your library. The player supports speed changes and keyboard controls.
Full Cast
Perform a story with a narrator and a separate voice for each character. Review the cast and change voices from the available options. Choose a faithful reading that keeps every word, or a dramatic performance that trims cues such as “he said” when the voice identifies the speaker.
Transcribe recordings
Turn recorded speech into text you can search and save. Keep lecture and meeting transcripts in your library for reading or further work.

Comprehensive accessibility
Use a mouse, touch or keyboard shortcuts, with screen reader support and navigation between controls and reading regions. Adjust shortcuts and accessibility settings to suit you.
Convert one file or a batch
Convert supported inputs to PDF, DOCX, HTML, Markdown, text or images. Monitor each file’s progress and save new output files while keeping the originals.
Keep a useful library
Import local files, web links or scanned paper. Search your collection, mark favorites and return to recent work. Keep generated audio and transcripts alongside your documents.
Understand the content
Request summaries, translations, practice questions and image descriptions from the reader. Generate interactive exams and review answer explanations. Check important AI output against your source.
